Le chien, Michel et moi

The darkness, composed of black and green, floods the space of this disturbing diptych. A chain connects the two parts. The one on the right is inhabited by a man in a red bottle holding a whip, and the one on the left is inhabited by a dog, present only through its name. The inscription “DIX LAPINS” (ten rabbits) in nine small boxes touches upon a frightening incident in childhood.
